Crown Stand for the Galaxy Note

Hello readers! Firstly, sorry about the picture quality. My normal camera is not with me at the moment, but I thought I'd still give it a review with pictures taken with my SGSII.

I've got the Crown Stand dock for you guys today :). The dock is nice, and it works pretty well, but I guess it's not for me. I don't want to break my Note in the near future, so I wouldn't really recommend it. And I'll show you why.

First the packaging comes with this extension usb cable to make the connector longer.

This is the box that the crown dock came in.

And the back.
Here is the USB cable that goes in the dock itself, and allows you to stand the Note straight up while connecting it. It sits fairly firmly in there. There's hardly any movement, but that's not what worries me.
This is what the dock looks like "assembled" which means running the cable through the hole and under the dock mount. The dock mount comes with 4 little spongy stickers that fit only 2 at a time (one on each side) to hold the phone up if you AREN'T using a case. It comes with a paper which says so.
This is what it looks like with the spongy stickers are on it.
I took off my case to try it with the stickers. If you look, the entire phone is balancing on the USB stick! This is what freaks me out.

This is it with a TPU case on. But it still just "balances" on the USB plug, which makes me worry about it coming lose some day.

Overall, I don't like the USB dock. Back from my SGSII days I used a dock for my phone and it always made the dock spot a little loose, so I'm done with the stuck inside dock. But the good thing about this dock is that if you look at this last picture, you can see aside from my mini salt shaker on my desk a groove to hold the phone sideways! This is WONDERFUL! I use this dock EVERY DAY. I turn it sideways, it sits VERY nicely and I charge it that way next to my bed. You can still use the charging cable they gave you, or the OEM one (which is the one I am using at the moment). Here are some more pictures

I got it off eBay.

Would I recommend it? Sure :) but not for a plug in dock, only for a lay down dock (just how the last 4 pictures depict)

Any questions? Fire them off in the comments.
